The College of Engineering and Technology is committed to providing a stimulating learning environment where classroom instruction and laboratory experiences combine to prepare students for the global workforce under constant demand and rapid change due to advances in science, engineering, technology, and mathematics. The College houses undergraduate programs that prepare students to become professionals who adapt to societal change, are life-long learners, and understand the economic impact of innovation. All of the disciplines within the College feature depth in the major courses and substantial grounding in mathematics, natural and physical sciences, the humanities, and social sciences.
The College of Engineering and Technology is home to motivated individuals who are interested in understanding and improving the world around them. Students have class, study, and socialize in VSU’s state-of-the-art Engineering Building; many students are just as likely to be found in one of the building’s many laboratories as in their own dorm rooms.
